Kappa Sisters

The members of Kappa Kappa Gamma strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives at Whitman College. Our chapter’s diversity is what makes us strong. From biology majors and swimmers to art history and debate, each member strives to be well rounded. Here at Whitman, Kappa has a strong scholarship program that provides valuable resources for all our members evidenced by our high GPA. Our philanthropy program offers several annual events that are unique to Kappa Kappa Gamma. Each year the Gamma Gamma Chapter selects a charity to donate to through our Mr. Whitman Fundraiser. In past years we have donated to The Chris Elliot Fund, the Walla Walla Public Library, Children’s Home Society, and Salud Juntos and Semilla Nueva, a non-profit started by Whitman alumna. Over the years, we have gained national recognition for our philanthropy and won an award at the 2014 convention for the most money raised for the Kappa Foundation in a chapter it’s size. From movie nights to flag football we pride ourselves in being socially diverse while gaining lifelong friendships. Our chapter has a strong tradition of leadership, scholarship, and philanthropy.
