KAPPA ALPHA THETA PHILANTHROPY

Since 1989, Kappa Alpha Theta has focused its philanthropic work on C.A.S.A., Court Appointed Special Advocates. C.A.S.A. trains a group of volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children so that they may thrive in safe and permanent homes.

Walla Walla’s Best Dance Crew is our biggest fundraiser of the year. With the help of dance crews from both on and off campus, we raise thousands of dollars for the local Walla Walla chapter of C.A.S.A. each year with an America’s Best Dance Crew-style competition.

The Delta Delta chapter at Whitman engages in a wide range of philanthropic activities, benefiting both C.A.S.A. and other local charitable organizations and causes; philanthropy is a centerpiece of fraternity life. In addition to formal, chapter-sponsored philanthropic opportunities, members can also solicit the support of their sisters for any project they may be undertaking.
